1/s.Pz.Abt. 101 w/Zimmerit ~ France 1944
Officially named the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B, the King Tiger was a formidable German tank weighing 69.8 tons. Entering production in mid-1944, it was armed with an 8.8cm KwK 43 L/71 gun and its frontal armor was up to 180mm thick. With such assets, this tank could easily prey on its less well-armed Allied opponents. However, its bulk and underpowered engine meant it wasn’t as effective in offense.
