US Army Bazooka Gunner (Private First Class)
The Bazooka was named after a horn used by a famous radio comic in those days. The bazooka was very effective against armored vehicles and fortified positions. The official name was M9A1 rocketlauncher and consisted of 72 inch tube, grip and trigger group. It fired a high explosive anti-tank shell.
